She creates an inspiring blend of organic and natural forms, creating a meaningful connection between what nature’s given us and our effort to reflect back. Inspired by the whim of nature – branches, tendrils, dew drops, vibrant colors – her fresh style is reflected in her use of thin, flexible wire that allows the beads to hang freely in open space. The beads she chooses capture light and reflect movement, accentuating a woman’s inherent beauty.

I believe a painting evokes an emotional response in the viewer. I don’t mean something overwhelming like "Oh my God, that is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen!" (Although that would be nice to hear.) I mean that the viewer feels a connection somehow with what they are looking at.
This connection may be a remembrance of a place, person or event, a desire to be at a place the painting portrays (which may be literal or more a state of mind) or something as simple as "Hey, I like blue."
Both literal and abstract paintings carry a certain "energy". In my paintings, I want that energy to be a sense of vitality. Vitality is defined as the characteristic, principle, or force that distinguishes living things from nonliving things.
I want my paintings to be "alive". Through the use of color and composition, they carry that sense of vitality. I hope your connection with them feels this way.

Century upon century, men and women have adorned themselves, their living spaces – even their beasts of burden with precious to semi-precious stone, metal, bone, horn, glass and ceramic beads.
And today, Indigo Rhino Designs continues that tradition with beads from yesterday alongside beads from today. Retro and rustic, vintage and tribal. cowgirl and cool...all peacefully co-existing on a single strand.
I draw my inspiration from the world and all the variety it offers. Using unusual, sometimes ethnic components and pendants, I create bold, exotic artisan jewelry. Every piece is both designed and handmade by me, so you can be sure you’re purchasing handcrafted artisan jewelry.
I offer bold, brassy, colorful adornments for the neck and wrist. Adornments with their own names and stories – stories that I hope mesh beautifully and boldly with yours.
And yes, I’ve seen an Indigo Rhino. It was during a dark, dark night and I was dreaming of pink alligators. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
